California DUI Arrests Over Christmas

California DUI arrests over Christmas in 2015 were up from the previous year,  the California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported.

From the time slot of 6 p.m. Christmas eve night to 6 a.m. Sunday after Christmas, CHP reported 608 DUI arrests, this is up from 565 arrests made during the previous year.  Of these 608 arrests, fourteen DUI related fatalities were reported.

The above numbers reported are of those arrests made by the CHP, the fatality numbers are for all law enforcement groups.
